Expert Legal Consulting
Experience Matters.
When seeking an expert witness- it's really not enough to find anyone with a license to practice. You need someone who actually likes sifting through data to find the story hidden within: that's where a true expert witness can speed up your litigation process. I am comfortable working with the defense or plaintiff in my areas of expertise listed below.

Areas of Expertise
Intensive Care
I worked in a neuro/surgical ICU for 5 years as a Registered Nurse, and achieved the coveted"CCRN" certification, only obtained with rigorous experience, study, and national testing standards.
Primary Care
As a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, I am currently employed as a primary care provider. I know the ins and outs of primary care, and what is expected of medical providers, nurses, and support staff in these settings.
Medical/Surgical Nursing
"Med-Surg" is a term that is used to cover the majority of care that is delivered in a hospital setting. I have 7 years of medical/surgical nursing experience, spending the majority of that time working as a charge nurse.
Neurosurgery
I have worked in neurosurgery in almost every capacity: inpatient postoperative as a Registered Nurse, intensive care in a neuro ICU, outpatient clinic, preoperative, postoperative inpatient, and postoperative outpatient care.
Intensive Care
I worked as the charge nurse in one of the busiest hospitals in the state of New York- Rochester General Hospital. Having worked in the surgical/neuro ICU, I've treated just about every type of head injury you can think of, and I have extensive knowledge about neurological assessment (a frequently named issue in neurologically based malpractice lawsuits), critical care medical devices, the standard of nursing care, provider/nurse communication, and patient monitoring.
While working in the ICU, it was my honor to obtain board certification as a CCRN (critical care certified RN), and I served as charge nurse and a member of the Emergency Nursing Intervention Team. I headed up a skin care team for my unit, and am well-versed in the identification, prevention and treatment of medical device associated pressure injuries.
